Pedestrian crossing sign (W11-2)
A diamond with a walking-person symbol. It may have a yellow or fluorescent yellow-green background.

What should you do?

Scan both sides of the road and the crossing. Adjust your speed so you can yield or stop as required by the traffic controls and applicable law.

A useful distinction

This warning sign is different from a regulatory YIELD HERE TO PEDESTRIANS or STOP HERE FOR PEDESTRIANS sign. Read the controls at the actual crossing.
