Intersections 3/ 5
California

multimedia section.

Yield to traffic and pedestrians on the direct road at “T” intersections with no “STOP” or “YIELD” signs.
Yield to all fast-approaching vehicles when turning left. In addition, watch out for motorcyclists, bicyclists and pedestrians.
Important: it’s recommended that you keep your wheels pointed straight ahead until it is safe to start turning. Otherwise, if a vehicle hits you from behind, you could be pushed into traffic.

Make sure you checked if there are no pedestrians wanting to cross the street and bicyclist riding around when you turn right.
Watch for vehicles coming in any lane you cross on divided highways or highways with several lanes.
