You may turn in its direction of a flashing yellow arrow if the way is clear. Yield to other traffic users coming from the other direction in the intersection.

If a traffic light changes from red to flashing yellow arrow and a pedestrian is in the intersection, let the pedestrian cross the street before you make a turn.

A flashing YELLOW arrow means turns are permitted but you must first yield to oncoming traffic and pedestrians, then proceed with caution.
